Preconstruction conference

Before beginning construction of all Construction Grants and Loans funded projects, the Construction Inspection Group (CIG) should be invited to participate in a preconstruction conference with the Recipient, A/E, contractor and others as appropriate. The main purpose is to inform the attendees of the CIG's role in the construction phase of the project, including inspection responsibilities, change order procedures, and environmental regulations administered by DENR which could affect construction of the project.
